1. Information We Collect

We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide to us when registering at the App, expressing an interest in obtaining information about us or our products and services.

• Personal Information Provided by You: We just collect from user (names, email) when sync if the user wants and to track his proccess in the app.
• Health and Nutrition Data: We collect information related to your daily calorie goals, scanned food items, macro-nutrient intake, and weight goals to provide the core functionality of the App.
• Camera and Photos: The core feature of CamCalory requires access to your device's camera and photo library specifically for scanning and analyzing food items. Images are processed by our secure AI pipelines to extract nutritional data.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use personal information collected via our App for a variety of business purposes described below:

• To facilitate account creation and logon process.
• To provide the AI food scanning service: Your food images are sent to our secure servers (including OpenAI and Supabase) solely for the purpose of analyzing the nutritional content. These images are not used to train global AI models without explicit consent.
• To track your progress: Storing your historical meal data to provide analytics, streaks, and progress tracking.
• To manage user accounts and subscriptions: For handling purchases of Pro and Pro+ tiers via RevenueCat.

3. Will Your Information Be Shared With Anyone?

We only share information with your consent, to comply with laws, to provide you with services, to protect your rights, or to fulfill business obligations. Key third-party processors include:

• Google Firebase & Firestore: For secure database storage and authentication.
• Supabase: For running Edge Functions securely.
• OpenAI: For processing food images to determine nutritional value (Data is not used for training their shared models).
• RevenueCat: For secure processing of in-app subscriptions.
• AdMob: For displaying advertisements to non-premium users.

4. Data Retention and Deletion

We keep your information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this privacy policy unless otherwise required by law. You have the right to request the deletion of your account and all associated data directly within the CamCalory app settings menu.

5. Security of Your Information

We have implemented appropriate technical and organizational security measures (including secure HTTPS and Firebase rules) designed to protect the security of any personal information we process. However, please also remember that we cannot guarantee that the internet itself is 100% secure.
